Perhaps taking into consideration the troubles this project has had so far, Michael Bay's Ninja Turtles (no Teenage Mutants here) has had its release date moved back a few weeks.
Previously set to hit screens on May 16th 2014, its new release date is now June 6th, 2014. This small shift also moves it out of competition with the remake of Godzilla, which is also currently set to be released in May.
This project has been through the mill so far, starting with large amounts of fan criticism directed its way after Bay stated that the Turtles will be from an alien race. Last weeks announcement that Megan Fox (Transformers) had been cast as April O'Neil appears to have done nothing to settle fans down.
We've still got a long way to go with this one yet, and there will no doubt be plenty more news to come, so let's wait and see before we get the pitchforks out.
