In just six short weeks from now, director Peter Jackson will take us back to Middle-earth with the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the hotly-anticipated first instalment of his three-part prequel to The Lord of the Rings.
Kick-starting the upcoming promotional blitz, a new batch of character posters have arrived online via BadTaste, featuring Bilbo (Martin Freeman), Gandalf (Ian McKellen), Gollum (Andy Serkis), Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Amitage), Fili (Dean O'Gorman), Kili (Aidan Turner), Oin (John Callen), Dwalin (Graham McTavish), Balin (Ken Stott), Bifur (William Kircher), Bofur (James Nesbitt), Bombur (Stephen Hunter), Dori (Mark Hadlow), Nori (Jed Brophy) and Ori (Adam Brown).
Sadly there's no sign Gloin (Peter Hambleton) yet, but considering there's about two hundred characters yet to receive a poster, we're sure he'll turn up in due course...
