Judd Apatow to direct Train Wreck

Judd Apatow's next directorial venture looks set to be the Universal backed Train Wreck starring up and coming comedian Amy Schumer. Schumer, star of the Comedy Central show Inside Amy Schumer is currently writing the script with Apatow producing and directing.

Although there's no word as to what the plot might entail, we can surely expect the same crude yet entertaining humour of his previous films, most recently This Is 40. Alongside Train Wreck, Apatow is also producing an as-yet-untitled project for American sketch-stars Key & Peele, and is also serving as producer on Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, which opens next month.
