Following this evening's Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special 'The Day of the Doctor' the BBC has aired a first look teaser for Matt Smith's swansong as the iconic Time Lord in this year's Christmas Special, which will also see mark the first appearance of Peter Capaldi (beyond his eyes), as well as the first TV trailer for Sherlock series 3, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.
