Ron Livingston's career has taken a well-deserved resurgence in recent years with his role in Boardwalk Empire opening the gates to numerous high profile roles - The Conjuring, Parkland, Drinking Buddies. The impressive run of form looks set to continue with Livingston now set to star alongside Natalie Zea (Justified) in Supreme Ruler.
Supreme Ruler will centre on Livingston, a small town go getter whose dream of becoming "Supreme Ruler" of his local Buffalo Lode is unexpectedly challenged by a hard drinking womaniser played by Vincent D'onafrio (Men in Black). The women are forced to travel to the Buffalo National Convention in Chicago in order to win the support of the organisation's national leaders. Zea will star as Livingston's wife.
No word yet as to when the film will open.
