Pixar have just announced a few key characters and their voice actors for their
Finding Nemo sequel,
Finding Dory. Jeez, all these fish losing each other. It's like they've got three-second memories or something...
Arguably the most forgetful of the ocean is the sequel's titular Dory (Ellen DeGeneres). At their annual
ComicCon D23 Expo, Disney Pixar have revealed her parents, Jenny and Charlie, will be voiced by Diane Keaton (
Annie Hall,
The Big Wedding) and Eugene Levy (
American Pie,
Best in Show), respectively. No concept art has been released yet, so just imagine the following photos in fish form. A Pacific Regal Blue Tan fish-form, to be precise:
|
Diane Keaton will play Dory's mother, Jenny. |
|
Eugene Levy will play Dory's dad, Charlie. |
Ty Burrell (
Modern Family,
Dawn of the Dead) has also been announced as a Beluga whale named Bailey. Again, imagine the following photo in Beluga whale-form:
|
Ty Burrell will play Bailey the Beluga whale. |
The sequel will be set a year after the events of the first film, with Dory taking off to look for her family, prompting Marlin and Nemo (the original's father and son clown fish duo) to chase after her. That makes it finding squared.
Finding Dory is currently expected for a 25th November, 2015 release.
OOOOOOOooooooooooooooooWWWWaaaaaaaaaaHHHHHHHHOOOOOoooo.
That means 'looking forward to it' in whale.
