After years of rivalry between The Simpsons and Family Guy, Fox has announced that its two big animated shows are set to cross-over in 2014 with a Family Guy episode entitled 'The Simpsons Guy', which will see Simpsons cast members Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith and Hank Azaria lending their voices to their characters for what is sure to be one of the TV events of the year.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode will see "Peter and the rest of the Griffins embark on a road trip and wind up in Springfield. There, they cross paths with Homer, who graciously greets his new 'albino' visitors, and the two families become fast friends. Stewie is impressed with Bart and his assortment of pranks, Lisa tries to figure out exactly what it is that she’s good at, and Marge and Lois do some bonding. Meanwhile, Peter and Homer argue over which beer is better: Pawtucket or Duff."
'The Simpsons Guy' is set to air in the Fall of 2014.
