On Saturday, 20th Century Fox will showcase two of its big upcoming releases in The Wolverine and Rise of the Planet of the Apes as part of its Hall H presentation at Comic-Con, but there's been a lot of speculation that the studio will also take the opportunity to give us a sneak peek at next year's X-Men offering in Bryan Singer's mutant epic X-Men: Days of Future Past. And, with the release of the official logo and launch of a new Trask Industries viral site is any indication, that might just be the case....
If you head on over to the Trask Industries website, you'll find yourself greeted by the silhouette of a Sentinel, but we've got a much better look at the deadly mutant-killing machines thanks to some images coming out of San Diego, where a Sentinel's head is on show as part of a Trask Industries display (via ComicBookMovie)...
X-Men: Days of Future Past is set for release on May 23rd, 2014 with a cast that includes X-Men veterans Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Lucas Till (Havok), Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde), Anna Paquin (Rogue), Halle Berry (Storm), Shawn Ashmore (Iceman) and Daniel Cudmore (Colossus). Newcomers to the franchise include Evan Peters (American Horror Story), Booboo Stewart (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse), Omar Sy (The Intouchables), Fan Binbing (Iron Man 3) and Josh Helman (Jack Reacher), while Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) will appear as the primary antagonist, presumed to be the head of Trask Industries - and creator of the Sentinels - Bolivar Trask.
