With just a month to go until filming begins on Guardians of the Galaxy, casting seems to be picking up on the cosmic superhero ensemble; last week we heard that The Walking Dead'sMichael Rooker had been cast as Yondu, and now The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that British actress Ophelia Lovibond has joined the James Gunn-directed film in an as-yet-unrevealed role.

Lovibond's previous credits include the feature films Nowhere Boy, Chatroom, London Boulevard, No Strings Attached and Mr. Popper's Penguins, and she was most recently seen in the TV series Titanic: Blood and Steel, which aired last year. According to THR, the actress will play "an aide to a being called The Collector, who gathers artifacts in the hopes of saving them from a foretold galactic annihilation."

Guardians of the Galaxy is set for release on August 1st, 2014, with a cast that so far includes Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation) as Star-Lord, Dave Bautista (Riddick) as Drax the Destroyer and Zoe Saldana (Star Trek Into Darkness) as Gamora.
