Paxton's character is a tough-as-nails platoon sergeant, and Emily Blunt (Looper, The Adjustment Bureau) is also signed up to play a soldier who has figured out the time loop. All You Need is Kill is due to start shooting in London this Autumn.
Paxton can next be seen in the drama Red Wing with Luke Perry, the sci-fi thriller The Colony alongside Laurence Fishburne, and the action film 2 Guns with Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington, which are all due out next year.
