Lucas Till (X-Men: First Class, Battle Los Angeles) is in talks to star in writer David Hayter's (X-Men, X2, Watchmen) feature-length directorial debut Wolves. Hayter has also written the screenplay for the werewolf movie, which tells the story of a young man (Till) who transforms into a werewolf and finds himself falsely accused of murdering his parents. He goes on the run and ultimately ends up in a small town called Lupine Ridge. The town has a history of supernatural happenings and holds the secrets to his past.

Copperhead Entertainment’s Steve Hoban, who previously produced the werewolf movie Ginger Snaps, is producing and Benedict Carver of Entertainment One is executive producing. Shooting is due to get underway on Wolves in mid-September in Toronto, Canada.

Till has recently completed the film Stoker with Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, and Matthew Goode, as well as the indie thriller Crush, and comedy Wet and Reckless. He is currently filming Robert Luketic’s thriller Paranoia, which also stars Gary Oldman, Harrison Ford, Liam Hemsworth, and Amber Heard.
