Legendary Beatles drummer Ringo Starr is set to lend his distinctive voice to the upcoming Powerpuff Girls special, which is set to air on Cartoon Network in January and will reunite original voice cast members Catherine Cavadini, Tara Strong, E.G. Daily, Roger L. Jackson, Tom Kane and Tom Kenny.
According to Variety, Ringo will voice Fibonacci Sequins, "Townsville's mots famous flamboyant mathematician." In addition to the guest appearance, he'll also perform an original song and music video entitled 'I Wish I Was a Powerpuff Girl'.
The Powerpuff Girls originally ran on Cartoon Network between 1998 and 2005, and the special is set to debut on Monday January 20th at 7.30pm.
