Fresh from their news about a rumoured live-action Young Justice series, Bleeding Cool has also posted a couple of nuggets of potential info about two other DC pilots currently in development - Fox's planned Jim Gordon series Gotham and The CW's forthcoming Hourman adaptation.
According to their source, "the pilot script for Gotham has Detective Jim Gordon trying to solve a very famous double homicide." Naturally, this seems to indicate that the series could get underway with Gordon investigating the slaying of Thomas and Martha Wayne, which would certainly be a good way of preventing the incessant speculation about potential appearances by Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl etc. that would surely accompany the show otherwise.
And as for Hourman, the site is reporting that the concept for the show will see "the lead granted superpowers upon taking a drug, but they only last for an hour a day [and] will have a different effect on each person who takes it, summoning different powers and abilities based upon their personality, enhancing existing talents or abilities tenfold, but with terrible side effects." This is completely different from the concept that originally circulated when the pilot was first announced, so it might be worth taking this with a pinch of salt until we get something official...
