With the Holiday season just around the corner, it's almost time to start dusting off some of those Christmas classics as we count down the days until the arrival of Santa Claus. For many, the 2003 comedy Bad Santa has become essential Christmas viewing, and it seems we won't have too much longer to wait for the long-rumoured sequel, with star Billy Bob Thornton revealing that filming on the festive follow-up is due to shoot next year.
"It's been very hard trying to get the script right," Thornton tells The Telegraph. "We've been through three or four drafts but we're getting real close. Then there's the business dealings to sort out, all the stuff I don't understand. But one way or another, the sequel will happen and the idea is to shoot it next year. We know we'll never beat the first film but we'll get as close as we can."
