Before Dwayne Johnson takes on the role of Hercules for The Thracian Wars, Twilight star Kellan Lutz is set to don the sandals as the son of Zeus for Hercules: The Legend Begins. Ahead of its January release in North America, Millennium Films and Summit Entertainment have dropped a new trailer for the $70 million mythological actioner, which sees director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger) returning from the wilderness. Hercules: The Legend Begins opens in North America on January 10th 2014 ahead of an August 8th 2014 release here in the UK, with Lutz joined in the cast by Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), Scott Adkins (The Expendables 2), Gaia Weiss (Mary Queen of Scots), Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones), Liam Garrigan (Strike Back) and Rade Serbedzija (Taken 2).
