Sylvester Stallone has enjoyed a career renaissance these past few years with Rocky Balboa, Rambo, The Expendables and The Expendables 2, and the action icon will be hoping to keep the ball rolling with his next effort as he teams up with director Walter Hill (The Warriors, 48 Hrs.) for Bullet to the Head, which has received a new theatrical trailer ahead of its release next year.
An adaptation of Alexis Nolent's graphic novel Du plomb dans la tête, the film sees Stallone's New Orleans hitman forming an alliance with a New York City cop (Sung Kang; Fast & Furious) to take down those responsible for the deaths of their respective partners. Game of Thrones and Conan the Barbarian star Jason Momoa heads up the bad guys, while the cast also includes Sarah Shahi (Fairly Legal), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra), Christian Slater (True Romance) and Holt McCallany (Fight Club).
