Since the huge announcement at Comic-Con that director Zack Snyder will bring together DC Comics' two most iconic heroes, we've been referring to the upcoming Man of Steel sequel as Batman vs. Superman.
However, it's generally believed that title is simply a placeholder and now, as the film gears up to go into production in February, a list of potential titles has emerged with Fusible noting that Warner Bros. has secretly registered several domains relating to the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight.
According to the site the list of potential titles registered by Warner Bros. are Man of Steel: Battle the Knight, Man of Steel: Beyond Darkness, Man of Steel: Black of Knight, Man of Steel: Darkness Falls, Man of Steel: Knight Falls, Man of Steel: Shadow of the Night, Man of Steel: The Blackest Hour and Man of Steel: The Darkness Within. Now, it is of course entirely possible that Warner Bros. has other plans for these domains (video games, perhaps?), but if the studio is to go with one of those titles, which do you prefer? Personally, I'd rather they just stuck with Batman vs. Superman...
The Man of Steel sequel is set for release on July 17th 2015 with Henry Cavill (Clark Kent / Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent) and Lawrence Fishburne (Perry White) joined by Ben Affleck as The Dark Knight.
