Three high resolution images from The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Sony is certainly making us wait for our first look at next year's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, especially considering we've already seen trailers for rival Marvel movies Captain America: The Winter Soldier and X-Men: Days of Future Past. The first trailer for the Spidey sequel is due to land with The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug on December 13th, but in the meantime Sony has dropped a trio of high resolution images from the film today; we've already seen the first two featuring Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker / Spider-Man) and Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn), but the third does give us a new look at Jamie Foxx as Maxwell Dillon....




"In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker, life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen, high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to swing into cinemas on May 2nd 2014, with Garfield (Peter Parker / Spider-Man), DeHaan and Foxx joined in the cast by Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) and Sally Field (Aunt May), Paul Giamatti (Rhino) and Chris Cooper (Norman Osborn), while and Felicity Jones and Colm Feore will appear in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
