Last week Robert Rodriguez's El Ray Network announced the start of production on From Dusk Till Dawn, the upcoming small screen adaptation of Rodriguz and Quentin Tarantino's 1996 movie, with D.J. Cotrona (Dear John, G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and Zane Holtz (Holes, The Perks of Being a Wallflower) as the Gecko brothers, Don Johnson (Django Unchained, Nash Bridges) as Sheriff Earl McGraw, and Jesse Garcia (Quinceañera, Sons of Anarchy) as the newly-created character of Texas Ranger Freddie Gonzalez.
Now we have news on the rest of the cast for the ten-part series, with El Ray revealing today that Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day, The X-Files) has been cast as Jacob Fuller, with Madison Davenport (Save Me, Shameless) as Kate Fuller and Brandon Soo Hoo (Tropic Thunder, Ender’s Game) as Scott Fuller. The family were portrayed by Harvey Keitel, Juliette Lewis and Ernest Liu in the original movie. Meanwhile, Eiza González (Lola: Érase Una Vez) will take over from Salma Hayek as Santánico Pandemonium, the headline attraction of the Titty Twister, who also happens to be a vampire queen.
From Dusk Till Dawn is expected to arrive on screens next year.
