Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, San Francisco was turned into Gotham City for a day for Miles, a 5 year-old boy in remission from acture lymphoblastic leukemia.
For one day Miles became Batkid. He got his own Batmobile, a call from help from Police Chief Greg Suhr, the capture of The Riddler as he attempts to rob a bank, a rescue mission involving a woman tied to trolley tracks, and a flash mob in Union Square asking him for help getting back Lou Sea, the San Franscisco Giants mascot, from The Penguin. His little brother is also dressed as Robin to assist him. Meanwhile, The San Francisco Chronicle printed a 1,000 special edition newspapers called the Gotham City Chronicle with the stories in it being written by Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Brenda Starr, and Perry White.
This is the cutest thing I've ever seen on the internet, and I applaud the city of San Francisco, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, The San Francisco Chronicle, and anyone else involved in making this such a big day for Miles.
