First trailer for the Need for Speed movie

Electronic Arts'Need for Speed is set to become the latest video game franchise to get the Hollywood blockbuster treatment, with DreamWorks looking to capitalise on the success of the Fast & Furious franchise with its own high-octane actioner, headlined by Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul. The first trailer has arrived online, and we have it for you right here....

Directed by Scott Waugh (Act of Valor) from a script by John Gatins (Flight) and George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau), Need for Speed sees Paul as an underground street racer and ex-con out for revenge against a wealthy business associate after being framed for the murder of his best buddy. Joining him in the cast are Imogen Poots (Fright Night), Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger), Kid Cudi (How to Make It in America), Rami Malek (The Pacific), Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades of Grey) and Michael Keaton (RoboCop).


Need for Speed is set for release on March 14th, 2014.
