Yesterday it was reported that Legendary Pictures and Atlas Entertainment had offered Colin Farrell (Fright Night, Total Recall) one of the leads in director Duncan Jones' (Moon, Source Code) upcoming fantasy Warcraft, and now Deadline has got its hands on a shortlist of actors said to be on the studio's wishlist for the video game adaptation.According to the site Farrell could be joined in the cast of Warcraft by his Fright Night co-star Anton Yelchin (Terminator: Salvation, Star Trek Into Darkness), while other contenders include Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood, Prisoners), Travis Fimmel (The Baytown Outlaws, Vikings) and Anson Mount (Straw Dogs, Hell on Wheels).
There's no word yet on any possible character details, but with production set to begin in January ahead of a release in 2015, expect to see plenty of casting news on Warcraft over the coming weeks and months.
