Back in July it was announced that The League of Gentleman and Sherlock co-creator Mark Gatiss had joined the cast of Game of Thrones for its upcoming fourth season, although his role was being kept firmly under wraps. Well, thanks to fan site Winter Is Coming, we now know the identity of Gatiss' character, with the site reporting that he's set to portray Tycho Nestoris of the Iron Bank of Braavos.

Gatiss is set to be joined by several new faces in the fourth season of the epic fantasy series, with additions including Joseph Gatt (Banshee) as Styr, Roger Ashton-Griffiths (Gangs of New York) as Mace Tyrell, Pedro Pascal (Graceland) as Oberyn Martell, and Indira Varma (Rome) as Ellaria Sand. Meanwhile several characters have also been recast, with Michiel Huisman (Nashville) replacing Ed Skrein as Daario Naharis, Dean Charles-Chapman (The White Queen) taking over from Callum Wharry as Tommen Baratheon and Icelandic strongman Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson becoming the third actor to play Gregor 'The Mountain' Clegane after Conan Stevens and Ian Whyte.

Game of Thrones will return to HBO for its fourth season in the Spring.
