Our friends across the Pond have less than three weeks to go before the premiere of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (which gets underway in the States on Tuesday, September 24th), and now it's been announced that the UK will only face a three day wait for the hotly-anticipated show, with E4 set to air the series from Friday September 27th at 8pm.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been created by Joss Whedon, with The Avengers director also helming the pilot episode, and sees Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) back from the dead to lead a hand-picked team which includes Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) and new recruit Skye (Chloe Bennet). Meanwhile, Cobie Smulders will also make an appearance in the pilot, reprising the role of Agent Maria Hill.
