In space, no one can hear you scream. But, if you listen hard enough, you can just make out the haunting, foreboding score of Gravity.

A 20-minute sampling of Steven Price's (Attack the Block, The World's End) score for the film has been posted online. It has no spoilers in, per se - like how some OST previews reveal tracks called 'When The Main Protagonist Dies' - but a sense of mood and tone is definitely conveyed. Give it a listen below...

Alfonso Cuaron's (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Children of Men) acclaimed space thriller Gravity stars Sandra Bullock (The Blind Side, The Proposal) and George Clooney (Up in the Air, The Descendants). Here's the official synopsis.

Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone--tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth...and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.

Gravity is set for a North American release on October 4th and opens in the UK on October 18th.
