Two new posters for Thor: The Dark World

Ahead of its UK release next month Marvel Studios has just debuted two new posters for its second Phase Two offering Thor: The Dark World featuring Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and Malekith the Accused (Christopher Eccleston)....


"Thor: The Dark World continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel's "Thor" and "Marvel's The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Thor: The Dark World is directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones) and also features returning Thor stars Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Anthony Hopkins (Odin), Rene Russo (Frigga), Stellan Skarsgård (Erik Selvig), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Ray Stevenson, (Volstagg) Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif), Tadanobu Asano (Hogun) and Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis) alongside Marvel newcomers Zachary Levi (Chuck) as Fandral  and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) as Algrim the Strong / Kurse.


Thor: The Dark World is set for release on October 30th in the UK and November 8th in North America.
