It seems The CW has founds its Amanda Waller for the second season of Arrow, with TV Guide reporting that Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Spartacus) will reunite with former co-star Manu Bennett on the hit superhero show, having signed on to a role previously portrayed by Pam Grier (Smallville) and Angela Bassett (Green Lantern). Along with her role as Naevia in Spartacus, the actress' credits include roles in FlashForward, The Vampire Diaries, Colombiana and Star Trek Into Darkness, where she played  the pivotal role of 'San Francisco Woman'.

Meanwhile, speaking to EW, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg has revealed that cameras will roll on The Flash's first appearance starting from September 30th, meaning that we should discover the identity of the actor set to portray Barry Allen in the very near future: "We’ll have to have somebody by September 30, which is when we start shooting [his first] episode. So there is that timeline. But it’s been a really exciting process just getting to meet so many fantastic actors and seeing the enthusiasm that so many people around town have for the character. It’s just amazing, I have pictures of myself at age 4 holding a Flash and a Superman doll. That I’m sitting here writing the Flash and Green Arrow now, it’s more than my little nerd heart can bear sometimes."
