Yesterday it was reported that Nashville star Michiel Huisman had joined the cast of Game of Thrones season 4, albeit in a mystery role, and now it has been revealed by The Hollywood Reporter that the Dutch actor is set to take over from Ed Skrein in the role of Daario Naharis. Daario becomes the second character to be recast for the upcoming season with Dean Charles-Chapman (The White Queen) also taking over from Callum Wharry as Tommen Baratheon, the younger brother of King Joffrey.
Game of Thrones season 4 is due to begin on HBO in the spring, with other new additions to the huge ensemble cast including Joseph Gatt (Banshee) as Styr, Roger Ashton-Griffiths (Gangs of New York) as Mace Tyrell and Pedro Pascal (Graceland) as Oberyn Martell and Indira Varma (Rome) as Ellaria Sand. Mark Gatiss (Sherlock) is also set to appear, although his role remains under wraps.
