Sofia Vergara, Alexa Vega and Elle LaMont in new Machete Kills still

There's less than six weeks to go before Danny Trejo returns as the former Mexican Federale Machete in Robert Rodriguez's grindhouse sequel Machete Kills, and Open Road Films have debuted a new still from the film featuring Sofia Vergara (Modern Family), Alexa Vega (Spy Kids) and Elle LaMont (Strings) displaying their weapons....


In MACHETE KILLS, Danny Trejo returns as ex-Federale agent MACHETE, who is recruited by the President of the United States for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man – he must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war and anarchy across the planet.

Trejo, Vergara, Vega and LaMont are joined in the cast of Machete Kills by returning stars Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Tom Savini and Electra and Elise Avellan, while other new additions include Charlie Sheen (Anger Management), Vanessa Hudgens (Spring Breakers), Amber Heard (Drive Angry), Antonio Banderas (Desperado), Demian Bichir (A Better Life), Zoe Saldana (Star Trek Into Darkness), Cuba Gooding Jr. (Red Tails), William Sadler (Iron Man 3) and Mel Gibson (The Expendables 3), along with pop superstar Lady Gaga. The sequel is set to open in the States on October 4th.
