
Into The Woods cheat sheet: it's a musical by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine. It premiered on Broadway in 1987 and weaves together the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales. It's main characters come from Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and Cinderella.
The IMDb also lists British comedian James Corden (The History Boys) as The Baker and Daniel Huttlestone (Les Miserables) as Jack, and YouTube personality Sophia Grace Brownlee has been confirmed to play Little Red Riding Hood. Into The Woods will be directed by Rob Marshall and is currently slotted in for a Christmas Day release in the US on 25th December, 2014.
