Directed by Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Ultimatum, United 93, Green Zone), the film stars Tom Hanks (Cloud Atlas) as the ship's captain Richard Phillips, while the supporting cast includes Catherine Keener (Capote, A Late Quartet), Max Martini (The Unit, Pacific Rim), Yul Vazquez (American Gangster, The A-Team) and Chris Mulkey (Cloverfield, Boardwalk Empire).
