It seems that Chris Evans is going to be using his downtime between outings as The First Avenger to direct his first feature.
With a decidedly more intimate scope than his superhero fare, he is set to direct the drama 1:30 Train this autumn. Written by Ron Bass (Rain Man, Just Like Heaven), the film is described as a romance in the vein of Before Sunrise that focuses on “two strangers who meet in Manhattan and spend one night together as the conflicts in their own lives become the basis for their exploration of each other and themselves.”
Though he is well known for more mainstream roles, this should come as no surprise, as Evans has branched out with films such as The Iceman, Sunshine, and the soon to be release Snowpiercer.
Funny to think that one of the main characters in Not Another Teen Movie is doing so well for himself now.
