Pinch of salt time everybody.
The Independent, arbiter of comic book movie news, has some possibly tasty information.
"A source close to Frank Miller, who also has Sin City and 300 sequels in the pipeline, told the Independent: 'Frank had no idea the announcement in San Diego was going to happen so it did come as a surprise. He’s going to be meeting up with Zack Snyder in the next few days to go over the plans for the Superman film so things should be clearer after that.'"
Of course, Miller is well known for his seminal Batman work The Dark Knight Returns, which pitted an aged Bruce Wayne against Superman. Though Snyder has worked on Miller material before with 300, it does make you wonder why he'd need him for this project. Yes his work was strong, but there are so many ways it could go. Are they going for an older Bruce? Will there be a similar beat down?
Like the Riddler says - "Too many questions". Let wait and see how this one pans out.
