Abigail Breslin in talks to join Arnie in zombie flick Maggie

It looks like Zombieland star Abigail Breslin could be set to tussle with the walking dead once again, although this time she'll have action icon Arnold Schwarzenegger at her side with The Hollywood Reporter revealing that Breslin is in talks for the title role in commercials director Henry Hobson's feature length debut, the zombie flick Maggie.

Breslin - whose other credits include Little Miss Sunshine, The Keeper, The Call and the forthcoming sci-fi Ender's Game - would star as Arnie's daughter, who finds herself slowly transforming into a zombie as a pandemic sweeps the globe. The role had originally been earmarked for Kick-Ass 2 star Chloe Grace Moretz, who had to pull out of the project due to a scheduling conflict.

Maggie is based on a Black List script by John Scott 3 (Lovely Monster), with Schwarzenegger also serving as producer. Filming is due to get underway shortly, with the film expected to arrive some time next year.
