Earlier this afternoon Universal Pictures took to Hall H of the San Diego Comic-Con International to present an all-star panel showcasing two of its upcoming summer blockbusters in the sequels Kick-Ass 2 and Riddick, releasing brand new red band trailers for both films, and you can check them out right here...
First up comes Jeff Wadlow's (Never Back Down) superhero sequel Kick-Ass 2, which sees the returning Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass) and Chloe Grace Moretz (Hit-Girl) teaming up with Jim Carrey's Colonel Stars and Stripes and his team of costumed crimefighters Justice Forever in order to battle the Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) - now rebranded as the world's first supervillain The Mother F*cker, and his own group of rogues, The Toxic Mega-C*nts.
And next up is a new red-band trailer for the sci-fi sequel Riddick, which sees Vin Diesel reteaming with Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick director David Twohy for a third live-action outing for the escaped convict, murderer and antihero Richard B. Riddick...
Zap2It have a good recap of the Riddick panel, which was attended by Twohy, Diesel and co-stars Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) and Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) and culminated with the Fast & Furious star revealing that "there is some very big news coming at the end of this month" with regards to the recent talk about him joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
