Having passed through the hands of a couple of directors and with virtually every actor in Hollywood having been linked to the lead role of Eric Draven, Relativity Media's remake of The Crow is finally set to move forward early next year, with F. Javier Gutiérrez (Before the Fall) directing Luke Evans (Fast & Furious 6, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) in the latest adaptation of James O'Barr's comic book series. Evans will become the third actor to portray Eric Draven, with Brandon Lee headlining Alex Proyas' 1994 box office hit in what tragically proved to be his final role, and Mark Dacascos starring in the short-lived 1998 TV series The Crow: Stairway to Heaven. As yet, there's no confirmed release date for the remake, but it is expected to arrive in cinemas some time in 2015.
