Bar some on set images, which didn't seem to show things in their best light, it’s been a while since we’ve seen anything new from the RoboCop remake, but thank to OmniCorp we have some new viral images, which you can see below. Fans of the original will notice how close the first image, of ED 209, resembles the original. The last image also seems to link to the new design for RoboCop himself....
"Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilises their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex's life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before."
The remake of the 1987 sci-fi classic is being helmed by Brazilian director Jose Padilha (Elite Squad) in his first English language movie. Starring Joel Kinnaman (The Killing), Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight Rises) and Michael Keaton (Birdman), it's set for release on 7th February 2014.
