Godzilla looks set to make a big impact in San Diego this weekend as Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures showcase director Gareth Edwards' (Monsters) forthcoming remake, and with anticipation running high for the unveiling of the big guy, a new poster has been released which gives us an indication of the sheer size of the King of the Monsters....

This is the second poster to surface this week, with Mondo also producing a new one-sheet to coincide with Comic-Con [see here]. Meanwhile, Skreeonk also discovered a piece of concept art from the film, which was uncovered from the Godzilla Encounter app...

Godzilla has been written by Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead), David Callaham (The Expendables), Max Borenstein (Seventh Son) and David S. Goyer (Man of Steel) and features a cast that includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass 2), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Juliette Binoche (The English Patient), David Strathairn (The Bourne Ultimatium), Ken Watanabe (Inception) and Akira Takarada (Gojira). The film is currently set for release on May 16th, 2014.
