The adaptations of Dan Brown's novels have proven very lucrative for Sony. Sadly for fans of Robert Langdon the third book in the series, The Lost Symbol, was mired in development troubles.So much so in fact that Sony have decided to move onto the next book in the series, Inferno. Here's the synopsis for the book:

Re-teaming Tom Hanks and Ron Howard from The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, Inferno is set for a release date of December 18th, 2015.
