Best known for creating The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman also has his own Image Comics imprint called Skybound which recently published the debut of a new title; Ghosted #1 which is described as “a classic Ocean Eleven-style story with a supernatural twist” has sold out meaning that a second printing is in order for the ghost-heist caper by Joshua Williamson (Masks and Mobsters) and Goran Sudzuka (Y: The Last Man).
The reprint of Ghosted #1 will be in stores on August 14, 2013 to coincide with the publication of Ghosted #2. For Comic-Con attendees in San Diego a special exclusive edition of the first instalment of the series which follows master criminal Jackson T. Winters while he attempts to steal a ghost from a haunted house will be available at the Image Comics/Skybound booth.
Todd, the Ugliest Kind on Earth heads to the small screen with veteran comedy producers Krysia Plonka and Tracey Baird of Thank You, Brain! Productions and geek animation studio Titmouse Inc..
"We wouldn't trust just anyone to shepherd the deranged and dysfunctional world of Todd to the boob tube,” stated M.K. Perker who co-created the comic book with Ken Kristensen. “It had to be just the right group of godless, self-medicated comedy producers and animators.”
With the one hour pilot currently in production with A&E, the trade paperback collection featuring the first four-issue story arc arrives in stores August 7, 2013 while Todd, the Ugliest Kid on Earth #5 goes on sale September 4, 2013.
