Based upon the iconic former South African President's 1994 autobiography, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom is directed by Justin Chadwick (The Other Boleyn Girl) from a script by William Nicholson (Les Miserables) and sees Elba joined in the cast by Naomie Harris (Skyfall) as Winnie Mandela.
Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom is set for a limited U.S. release on November 9th, and will open here in the UK on January 3rd, 2014.
