The CW's latest superhero venture Arrow enjoyed a strong debut this past Wednesday, giving the network its highest-rated premiere since 2009's The Vampire Diaries. Fresh from this successful launch, stars Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), Katie Cassidy (Laurel Lance) and Willa Holland (Thea Queen) appeared at the New York Comic Con to unveil an action-packed sizzle reel featuring brand new footage from the first nine episodes, and you can check it out right here.Highlights include a meeting between Oliver Queen's costumed alter-ego and former girlfriend Laurel Lance, an appearance from Jessica De Gouw's Helena Bertinelli (a.k.a. The Huntress), and glimpses of the upcoming villains Deathstroke (Jeffrey Robinson), China White (Kelly Hu), Deadshot (Michael Rowe) and the Royal Flush Gang, in addition to John Barrowman's mysterious 'Well Dressed Man'. Arrow airs on The CW on Wednesday evenings, and is set to premiere in the UK on Sky1 on Monday, October 22nd.
