We've already seen one trailer for Snowpiercer, the upcoming English-language debut of South Korean filmmaker Joon-ho Bong's (The Host, Mother), and now a 60-second international spot has arrived online which gives us a look at some new footage from the post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller.
Based upon the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette, Snowpiercer features an impressive cast that includes Chris Evans (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), John Hurt (Immortals), Jamie Bell (The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn), Ed Harris (Game Change), Ewen Bremner (Jack the Giant Slayer), Octavia Spencer (The Help), Go Ah-sung (The Host), Kang-ho Song (The Good, the Bad, the Weird), Alison Pill (Scott Pilgrim vs the World) and Tilda Swinton (We Need to Talk About Kevin).
"After a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews."
Snowpiercer opens in South Korean next month but as yet there's no word on a UK or U.S. release.
