There's a lot of anticipation building for Elysium, the second feature film from District 9 director Neill Blomkamp, and a new trailer for the sci-fi thriller has arrived online, which pretty much confirms that this could be one of the cinematic highlights of 2013. Check it out after the official synopsis...."In the year 2154, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined planet. The people of Earth are desperate to escape the crime and poverty that is now rampant throughout the land. The only man with the chance to bring equality to these worlds is Max (Matt Damon; Behind the Candelabra), an ordinary guy in desperate need to get to Elysium. Elysium is set for release on August 9th in North America and September 20th in the UK, with a cast that also includes Sharlto Copley (District 9), Wagner Moura (Elite Squad), Alice Braga (The Rite) and Diego Luna (Contraband).
