With just three weeks to go until its release, Universal Pictures has debuted a second theatrical trailer for R.I.P.D., the upcoming action-adventure starring Ryan Reynolds (Green Lantern) and Jeff Bridges (True Grit) as two undead cops dispatched by the Rest In Peace Department to protect the living from an increasingly destructive array of supernatural threats.Based upon the Dark Horse Comics series by Peter Lenkov, R.I.P.D. is directed by Robert Schwentke (RED) and also stars Kevin Bacon (X-Men: First Class), Mary-Louise Parker (RED), Stephanie Szostak (Iron Man 3) and Robert Knepper (Prison Break). "Veteran sheriff Roy Pulsifer (Bridges) has spent his career with the legendary police force known as R.I.P.D. tracking monstrous spirits who are cleverly disguised as ordinary people. His mission? R.I.P.D. opens on July 19th in North America and on August 30th in the UK.
