Hugh Jackman in The WolverineIt's July, so that means we're only a few weeks away from Hugh Jackman's return as the adamantium-clawed mutant Logan in director James Mangold's (Knight and Day) upcoming X-Men solo sequel The Wolverine, and to remind us all, 20th Century Fox has released a second TV spot for the upcoming Japan-set adventure featuring some brief snippets of new footage, which you can check out below....

"Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern-day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before."

The Wolverine is set for release on July 25th in the UK and July 26th in North America, with a supporting cast that includes Will Yun Lee (Total Recall) as Harada (a.k.a. the Silver Samurai), Hiroyuki Sanada (The Last Samurai) as Shingen, Brian Tee (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift) as Noburo Mori, Hal Yamanouchi (The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou) as Yashida and Svetlana Khodchenkova (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) as Viper.
