Henry Cavill talks Justice League
With Man of Steel hovering around the $400 million mark at the global box office after just twelve days on release, expectations are running high for Warner Bros. to pull their trigger on their shared DC Movie Universe. We've already heard unconfirmed reports that the studio has tapped director Zack Snyder and screenwriter David S. Goyer to fast-track Man of Steel 2 through development for release next year, culminating with the long-awaited Justice League movie in 2015. However, according to Superman himself Henry Cavill, we could face a longer wait before WB assemble DC's finest for the superhero ensemble.

"Justice League could be great if done correctly," Cavill tells ABC News. "It's a very tough one to do because the DC comic heroes are all god-like in their power. So in this real world setting we're telling our story in, it's going to be tough to achieve that and it has to be done very delicately with a lot of thought. So, it won't be right away, I hope it's not anyway. It may take some time of building up other movies and other characters and introducing them together in one way or another. I think it would be great to do, but I don't think it's around the corner."

So, if Justice League isn't an immediate priority for Warner Bros. and the studio is really serious about launching a DC universe, you'd have to expect the inevitable Man of Steel 2 to be joined by at least one other solo movie by 2015. Does this mean we could finally see the long-gestating Wonder Woman or The Flash? Or perhaps even a quick return to Gotham City..?
