Now that the excitement over Man of Steel is starting to die down, 20th Century Fox has stepped up its promotional campaign for Hugh Jackman's latest X-Men outing, the James Mangold-directed solo sequel The Wolverine; we've already seen two new posters this week [see here and here] and now we have another FOUR, beginning with an international one-sheet which sees Jackman's adamantium-clawed mutant joined by Svetlana Khodchenkova as Viper and Rila Fukushima as Yukio...
And next up is three more of the film's impressive sumi-e character posters, this time featuring Shingen (Hiroyuki Sanada), Mariko (Tao Okamoto), and Harada (Will Yun Lee)...
"Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before."
The Wolverine arrives on July 25th in the UK and July 26th in North America.
