Following a special screening in New York last night, director Steven Spielberg and star Daniel Day-Lewis took part in a special Q&A over at Yahoo! Movies, with the duo taking questions from fans via Twitter about their much-anticipated upcoming film Lincoln, and you can check out a video of the entire event below.
Set during the closing stages of the American Civil War, the film is based upon Doris Kearns Goodwin's biography Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln and sees Day-Lewis' President clashing with his cabinet over the abolition of slavery.
The two-time Oscar-winner is joined by a stellar supporting cast that includes Sally Field (The Amazing Spider-Man), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (The Dark Knight Rises), Tommy Lee Jones (Men in Black 3), David Strathairn (The Bourne Ultimatum), Lee Pace (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey), Jared Harris (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows), Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen), James Spader (Boston Legal), John Hawkes (Martha Marcy May Marlene) and Walton Goggins (Django Unchained).
Lincoln will receive a limited North American release on November 9th before opening nationwide on November 16th, and arrives in the UK on January 25th, 2013.
