Barring a few snippets of footage in an international featurette, we've seen very little from the upcoming sci-fi Snowpiercer, but all that has changed now with the release of the first trailer for South Korean filmmaker Joon-ho Bong's (The Host, Mother) English language debut, which you can watch below...Based upon the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette, Snowpiercer is set in a post-apocalyptic future where the only survivors of an Ice Age reside on a perpetually moving train called the Snowpiercer. Featuring in the all star cast are Chris Evans (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), John Hurt (Immortals), Jamie Bell (The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn), Ed Harris (Game Change), Ewen Bremner (Jack the Giant Slayer), Octavia Spencer (The Help), Kang-ho Song (The Good, the Bad, the Weird), Go Ah-sung (The Host), Alison Pill (Scott Pilgrim vs the World) and Tilda Swinton (We Need to Talk About Kevin).
Snowpiercer is due for release later this year.
